Our NC Laser cutting systems use state of the art CO2 laser beam generators. NC Laser also produces a complete flat using a very fine laser beam instead of punch tools. Here also like NC Punch, various components of an assembly or other parts can be nested together to obtain optimum material and machine outputs. Lasers, not using any tooling, can produce a part much quicker thus reducing turn around time. A prototype part can be produced within hours. Materials cut on laser are stainless steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum, and plastic sheets. It can cut .001″ thick shim stocks. Because the cutting is done with optical laser beam, there are limitations on each material maximum cutting thickness. It can cut stainless steel, cold rolled steel and plastics to the .312″ thick; aluminum to .250″ thick and brass and copper to .020″ thick.
